ReplyDeleteErrr...What is Paniyaram Plate? Can I make this on the normal Dosa Tava?
ReplyDeleteHiyaa,
ReplyDeletePaniyaram plate has small round holes in it so that you get the shape of a ball. If you use normal Dosa Tava you will get it like a dosa. You might want to add small quantity of rice flour to it when you make it like Dosa !
Need to try this out. Given the benefits of Ragi finding a good way to use this miracle grain is very essential. This sounds interesting..
ReplyDeleteI did not know what paniyaram but could guess it was gunthapongalu/gunthaponganalu as it is said in Kannada/Telegu respectively. Traditionally made of dosa batter with minor changes, it is one of my favorites..
